Meet our new Committee!

For those of you who missed our AGM last month, we’ve now elected our very first committee who will help in the management of our group going forward.

The group includes: David Ury: Chair, Gareth Williams: Secretary, Bob Barkany: Treasurer, Daniel Carter: Communications, Anneke Elwes: Community Networks, Ngaire Bushell: Civic Engagement.

New Conversation Classes!

Our new conversation classes are now up and running, and will run on Wednesday mornings, 10.00 – 11.00am, with a second afternoon class from 3.30 – 4.30pm at Queens Crescent Community Centre, Kentish Town. These are in addition to our other classes at Freedom from Torture in Finsbury Park and The Imperial War Museum in Southwark.

Flipchart stand donation:

We are currently looking for a flipchart stand to use during our wednesday conversation classes. If you are able to donate one to our class, or have one that we could use during that time, please get in touch by contacting Sylvia at [email protected].
