We have also been running a crowd funding campaign to ensure the scheme is sustainable.  A big thank you to those of you who have donated already – we hope to start making a real difference in the capital soon.

Thanks to our friends spreading the word we have registered nearly 150 befrienders in Greater London and raised £5K.  We are screening and checking our befrienders before letting them loose on the capital and opening for refugee referrals.  But with a bit more help from our supporters we hope to soon.  Please help us to reach our 10K target so that we can start matching socially isolated refugees in London to the one thing they need – a friend they can rely on.
